The House approved legislation earlier today that will allow the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 that Obama signed earlier this year to take effect Dec. 1st, 2009 as apposed to the original effective date of Feb. 1st, 2010. Though there is a lot of debate over whether or not it can actually go into effect that quickly. Regardless something has got to be done about the credit card companies changing their rates and terms when they see fit.
