Free Credit Reports What???

It seems like it should be so common of a thing, that everyone should know. And yet there are still so many people who don’t know that they have a right to view copies of all three of their credit reports for free once a year. What a majority of people end up doing is typing in “Free Credit Report” into any web browser and see the site called “FreeCreditReport.com”.  There you can see your credit reports, only after agreeing to sign up for their credit monitoring services.

Please, please, please!!! If all you are looking for is your credit reports and nothing else than all you have to do is visit www.annualcreditreport.com. This is a website that was created by the credit bureaus and is currently the only place you can go to get access to all three of your credit reports without having to pay anything for it. But beware! All this site does is direct you to each of the major credit bureaus’ websites where you will be offerred all kinds of services on top of ordering your free credit report. Just remember that if you are being asked for a debit/credit card number then you have selected to purchase one of these services and you should go back to make sure you are only getting your free credit report. For more information I have also created a website that explains the whole process in more detail, www.FreeOnlineCreditGuide.com.
